Technorati Adds Authority

Technorati, the blog directory and search engine, has made an interesting change to the manner in which they display information about the sites they index. I routinely check this blog's "Technorati Ranking" and I was surprised this morning to notice that, in addition to the overall global ranking, Technorati is also providing ranking based on "authority" Further inspection revealed that Technorati merely changed the way they present the number of blogs that link to one another, but there must be more to the story so more coming soon!
