TestFairy Grants App Insights
A new app testing service for Android, dubbed TestFairy, aims at making it easier for developers to obtain user insights during the testing process.
TestFairy captures a video of each administered test, as well as provides developers with detailed metrics like CPU, memory, GPS, network usage, phone signal and more. Then, each test can be viewed by the developer, who will be able to get a clear look at the user experience and any issues that occur on the client side during the test. Plus, the service requires no coding or SDK be added in order to test the apps.
“We are very excited with our new service, the feedback we got from customers is excellent, and to see apps going to the market after being tested on our platform makes us very proud,” said Yair BarOn, CEO of TestFairy. “We made a huge effort to create a service that is extremely easy to use for developers and QA personnel at the same time, and we believe that this will be a key factor for our future success.”
It is also important to note that currently TestFairy is free for all users, however, the company plans on offering a premium paid version of the service later this year.
