There are some interesting solutions available, however, to help Internet retailers convert more high-quality prospects.

E-commerce solutions provider BlueSnap, for example, recently released its "Cleanse Report" to help merchants analyze their sales traffic and develop an action plan to optimize their sales funnel. By combining payments data from BlueSnap's Powered Buy Platform and shopper data from Kount’s fraud engine, the report offers merchants a much deeper understanding of the consumers they are currently attracting to their site, so that they can clean up their sales funnel.

The Cleanse Report provides merchants with data on market segments that can be monetized through product or marketing enhancements, prioritize the highest quality countries, channels and customer segments, and track progress against goals and benchmarks for mobile transaction volume. By knowing where buyers are coming from and what devices and languages they are using for online shopping, merchants are able to reduce fraudulent transactions that may look like good customers but aren't.
