With a rate just north of 67 percent, online shopping cart abandonment is a serious problem for online retailers.

Persuading consumers to follow through with their transactions is no easy feat. To help online retailers encourage consumers to follow through with their purchases 3dcart has partnered with Amazon.

Through their partnership, brands that use 3dcart’s e-commerce platform to sell their goods will now allow users to make purchases with their shipping and payment detail from their or account thanks to Amazon Payments. 3dcart hopes that by using Amazon Payments as a checkout method it will help speed-up the process and reduce consumer frustration at the same time.

“…retail merchants will be able to take advantage of our enhanced shopping cart functionality and benefits for their e-commmerce websites, while using the excellence of payment processing from international industry leaders, such as Checkout by Amazon UK and DE,” saide Joe Palko, chief marketing officer for 3dcart.
