The Marketing Automation Price Wars
Less than 10 percent of businesses have used marketing automation software (source: Forbes).
While complexity is likely one issue, price is another significant obstacle many brands must overcome. But that's starting to change.
Wishpond just announced a pricing plan that will make its product free forever, positioning its solution as a potentially viable option to the sometimes costly alternatives that exist. Under the free plan, enterprises will be able to create an unlimited number of landing pages, website popups, newsletters and automation campaigns, and generate up to 200 leads (at which point the $69 per month fee kicks in).
“Solutions like Hubspot and Marketo require thousands of dollars in training and consultants just to get setup,” Wishpond CEO Ali Tajsekandar said. “Obviously this is far too much for the average small to medium-sized business. This cost is often one of the main barriers that keep companies from using marketing automation solutions.”
