The New Online Application Experience

Posted on 4.29.2015

Jibe is aiming to make the online job application easier, as the company has launched a new candidate experience recruitment technology platform for corporate career sites.

The platform offers a consumer-like experience for applicants and integrates with a company’s existing applicant tracking system (ATS). In fact, Jibe’s integration with a company’s existing ATS provides users with the ability to extract jobs from the ATS on a regular basis, upload completed job application to the ATS and integrate user management with ATS authentication.

Moreover, the platform enables companies to develop customizable candidate experiences with company branding, colors, fonts and images. The platform also helps companies create SEO-friendly job postings and landing pages, as well as landing pages with content geared for specific job categories or locations.

It is also important to note that Jibe’s platform features a fully responsive design, which optimizes the hiring process across screens and provides a user-friendly experience on any device. This is also important because of Google’s new mobile search algorithm update.

"Outdated sites and terrible experiences can have ramifications to a company's brand reaching well beyond lessening the talent pool," said Joe Essenfeld, founder and CEO at Jibe. "Jibe brings the career site into 2015, creating a better experience from not only a branding perspective, but with key features such as search and mobile. A better experience leads to better talent and gives time back to recruiters to do what they do best."

Other features of the Jibe platform include type-ahead and filtered search, as well as mobile-friendly resume upload and an integration with LinkedIn that eliminates the need for additional typing or data entry when filling out an application. Plus, both mobile and desktop candidates can opt-in for job notifications for positions they are interested in, and can also join a company’s “talent network” to express interest without applying for a specific position.

In all, Jibe aims to help companies increase the candidate pipeline, increase application completion rates, reduce time to fill and job board spend.
