Email list recipients will need a continuous stream of information in order to achieve the lifetime value demanded to ensure a profitable exchange for the enterprise. Staying in front of customers with regular mailings (e.g. a seasonal greeting, a daily newsletter, or a regularly scheduled message on new products or sale items) is required today but perhaps the best way to ensure email remains a viable channel is to segment list based on interest, creating and delivering engaging, entertaining, and useful content for each individual recipient on your list.
