Twitter Makes Analytics Dashboard Available to All
Leveraging social media is a great way for businesses and individuals to reach their consumer base.
However, to understand whether or not people are actually listening to your message you need analytics. While Twitter had already unveiled analytics for businesses and verified users, it had yet to bring its analytics dashboard to the masses.
Now, Twitter has announced through a tweet by Ian Chan, a front end engineer at the social network, that Twitter has made its analytics dashboard available to all users.
Absolutely thrilled to open up access to http://t.co/wcU6oj9hFM to EVERYONE. Check it out, and let us know what you think!— Ian Chan (@chanian) August 27, 2014
Through the analytics dashboard users will be able to find information on how their tweets from the last 28 days have performed. Specific information they will receive includes engagement rates, link clicks, retweets, favorites and replies.
Another interesting page on the dashboard is the Followers page. This page displays a graph at the top charting the number of followers an individual or a business has as well as other information like gender, location as well as interests of your followers.
The only caveat to using the dashboard is that users must have an account that has been open for at least 14 days with tweets that are primarily in English, French, Japanese or Spanish.
