Web application performance is critical for e-commerce companies to achieve the maximum volume of conversions.

Amazon (AMZN) has shown that every 500 milliseconds of latency cost them 1 percent in sales, and Walmart (WMT) reports conversion rates rise 2 percent for every second of reduced load time.
