Video Retargeting Boost CTR and ROI
Dynamic video retargeting campaigns significantly increase click-through rates (CTR), return on investment (ROI), and view rates, across several industries according to recently released research from Treepodia.
The Treepodia research also suggests that video retargeting (which uses video to retarget viewers with products or services they have previously viewed) actually outperforms traditional forms of retargeting. The overall increase across industry was 74 percent in CTR and the ROI increased by 49 percent.
Some industries seemed to outperform others. While each industry saw significant increases in both CTR and ROI, the jewelry and gifts category, and the furniture category showed the greatest improvements. Jewelry and gifts saw both CTR and ROI increases of 100 percent and the furniture industry saw a CTR increase of 86 percent and an ROI increase of 34 percent.
