Watch the gTLD Sunrise at Godaddy
Domain name registrar GoDaddy announced last week that it is now allowing its customers to add new top-level domain names to a watchlist so that they don't miss out on the release of the more than 700 new extensions that will become available later this year and in early 2014. That is, if they pass the ICANN Initial Evaluation.
GoDaddy noted that it might not sell all of the gTLDs listed and indicated that the watchlist feature simply provides a sense of what its users are interested in and what they should sell when the time comes.
GoDaddy users can search for or browse categories of the pending extensions, save them to a watchlist, and receive alerts when the registration begins.
