Weather Forecasting Within Email Increases CTR by 10% for AAA

Customer experience solution Liveclicker unveiled a new capability that will provide marketers the ability to deliver weather forecasts in real-time email campaigns. 

The new LiveForecast, part of Liveclicker's RealTime Email suite of tools, can be targeted to the opener's date and location or to dates and locations chosen by the marketer. Forecasts can be delivered up to seven days in advance. It's a great way for those in the travel and tourism business, for instance, to inform and educate consumers (and build relationships that over time add to the lifetime value).

“We used RealTime Email’s LiveForecast feature for our recent Travel Expo outreach targeted to more than 125,000 recipients,” said Nancy Weaver, senior manager eBusiness, AAA Ohio. “Using the LiveForecast feature, our click-through rates increased by 8-10 percent over expectations. We are excited to incorporate LiveForecast data into other messages, such as our destination campaigns, to drive engagement and increase response rates in 2015.”
