Webtrends Taps Tech Vet for CEO Role
Digital marketing solution provider Webtrends announced the appointment of Joe Davis to Chief Executive Officer.
Davis was most recently the CEO of Tocata, a technology company serving the mobile e-commerce vertical. An experienced veteran in the technology space, Davis was also the former CEO of Coremetrics, a cloud-based software provider of Web, social and mobile marketing, which was acquired in 2010 by IBM.
"I have long followed Webtrends and witnessed its evolution from a web analytics pioneer to a leading provider of digital marketing solutions," said Davis. "I am extremely bullish about the company's future growth and can't wait to take the lead as we push the boundaries of what is possible with digital marketing."
Webtrends currently serves more than 2,000 clients including Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, HSBC, ASOS, Microsoft, BMW, Toyota, Play.com, AllSaints, The Telegraph and many others.
