What's Slowing Down Your Website's User Experience?

Companies can now measure the amount of time it takes for end-users to complete specific website transactions, thanks to a new feature from LoadStorm.

Through LoadStorm 2.0, users can measure various transaction times (e.g. how long it takes to log in or add an item to a cart), so they can better ensure applications perform business processes in a timely manner. 

“Using the new transaction response time feature adds a layer of simplicity in understanding performance issues in a way best perceived by real customers and users – in other words, how long does it take to complete this search, or complete that payment,” said Phillip Odom, director of performance engineering for LoadStorm. “Our customers can use this feature to better ensure service levels of each application business process are met. It adds a new dynamic to our analysis. It’s no longer just about measurements like CPU utilization, memory usage and more. Now it’s also about a very common understanding – time.”

Website performance is of course important across all verticals, but by going into very specific website transactions, retailers, for example, could use the data to see if conversion rates increase when the time it takes to comparison shop on their site is reduced. The data from LoadStorm 2.0 provides very real-world scenarios that, when addressed, could result in real-world revenue.
