What's New in AdWords Editor
Google recently released an update to its AdWords Editor that includes full support for labels, Upgraded URLs, call-only ads, ads in mobile apps and more. Let's take a closer look.
Labels: Users can now create, edit or delete labels (a way to organize objects in Adwords - e.g. campaigns, keywords) - into custom groupings to make it easier to filter and report on the most important business data.
Upgraded URLs: There is now support within AdWords Editor for Upgraded URLs, enabling advertisers to manage URLs (the destination and tracking) and tracking templates within the system (which goes live July 1st).
Call-Only, Mobile App Ads: AdWords advertisers can now create and manage call-only ads through AdWords Editor, and choose to show ads for certain categories of apps (including specific placements).
Demographic Targeting: In addition to gender and age, AdWords Advertisers can now select to reach customers based on their parental status across the Google Display Network.
