Yahoo Short Descriptions Around the Corner
Yahoo! Search Marketing Blog today again noted that advertising descriptions
would be shortened from the maximum 190-character to the new 70 character limit
starting on June 20th.
Ads that appear in U.S. search results at Yahoo! with descriptions exceeding 70 characters will be cut off at the nearest complete word and followed by an ellipsis. However, 190-character long descriptions may still be displayed on some of Yahoo!'s distribution partners.
