You Get a Data Scientist! Everybody Gets a Data Scientist!

Empowering marketers is the name of the game for many of today’s technology platforms whether it’s the ability for marketers to make changes on the fly with minimal or no IT support or a way for them to transform data into actual strategy. The latter is exactly what a new product from BrightEdge hopes to provide, particularly when it comes to creating content that matters to individuals in their moment of need like when they are searching for answers. 

Announced at its Share16 event in San Francisco this week, BrightEdge revealed “DataMind,” which the company says gives every marketer their own data scientist. It’s a deep-learning engine that identifies important search trends, competitive threats and market shifts in real-time and works with other BrightEdge products (like the just-announced Content IQ and Intelligent Experiences) to provide marketers with fresh, accurate and actionable insights to drive better content strategies. 

“DataMind takes away the heavy lifting from marketers having to brainstorm or use guesswork to identify potential content topics with high demand,” BrightEdge CEO Jim Yu told Website Magazine. “This allow marketers to focus on the actual creation and execution of that content. DataMind is your own data scientist that transforms data into insights to power successful content strategies.”

The previously mentioned “Intelligent Experiences” was also announced at BrightEdge’s annual event and enables marketers to “quickly create and publish the right content, pre-optimized for search.” The third product announced at Share16 was Content IQ, an “intelligent site audit solution built on the BrightEdge platform that crawls over 100 million pages, prioritizes fixes based on business benefit, measures the impact and monitors site health to protect revenue.”
