YouTube Rolls Out New GIF Creator
It’s no secret, video helps brands to inspire consumer engagement.
One of the most popular types of video on the Internet comes in the form of short snippets called “GIFs” that last just a few seconds.
While there are already dozens of creators for making GIFs out of YouTube videos, the ever-popular video channel has quietly released their own GIF creator.
Currently available on a just a few videos, YouTube’s GIF creator allows users to quickly create an auto-replaying video snippet of up to six seconds in duration. To set the length of a snippet users can either utilize a slider bar or enter the specific start and end time of the segment they wish to use. Also, to enable users to add a custom touch to their GIFs, the creator allows users to add personalized text to the top and bottom of each video.
To leverage the new feature, users must go into the share feature underneath the YouTube video and subsequently select the GIF tab.
