Digital commerce solutions provider Zmags has launched a platform called Zmags Convergence, which invites consumers to discover, engage and make purchases through an interactive interface.

The platform is built to capture the sophistication of the iPad while also engaging users on Facebook, smartphones and PC-based browsers. It aims at blending the brick-and-mortar store experience with the experience of flipping through a magazine.

Zmags Convergence allows consumers to quickly browse through pages, bring up additional product information and easily share products or make purchases. Additionally, a collapsible action bar follows shoppers as they browse so that it is not necessary to leave the page in order to buy or share an item, while the "Buy the Collection" capability enables customers to discover and buy items either one at a time or all at once.

The platform also features audio and animations in order to produce an immersive brand experience across all digital channels. The Zmags Convergence platform is available in March for both Zmags Professional and CommercePro users.
