Mailchimp has introduced a new automation solution for ecommerce businesses to design and send personalized transactional emails including shipping confirmations and order invoices.
Users of the MailChimp system will be able to create these notification/confirmation emails within the same place as their email campaigns and Facebook ads within the system.
The system also reportedly has a product recommendation block which will enable retailers to include and feature additional items from their store, as well as track revenue and engagement with MailChimp's reporting tools.
MailChimp currently works with several ecommerce software solutions including Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce and WooCommerce.
