While it is common for on-premise and hybrid archiving vendors to use MAPI, EventSync or log shipping to archive client messages, these methods do not work when email is hosted in a multi-tenant, Internet-based cloud. SaaS email archiving, hosting and continuity solution provider [**LiveOffice**](https://liveoffice.com) aims to resolve the issue, today announcing support for all major cloud email platforms through its CloudMerge technology, an archiving platform for both cloud and on-premise email solutions. LiveOffice takes a different approach by allowing messages to be captured from a variety of sources (SMTP, IMAP, POP3, etc.) and compiled in a unified, searchable and portable archive. "Our research indicates that the easiest way to justify an IT investment in the next 24 months is to provide a reduction in operating costs," said Brian Babineau, senior analyst with Enterprise Strategy Group. "Since email and message management consume valuable operating resources, moving these tasks and responsibilities to a cloud-based service is becoming increasingly attractive. LiveOffice enables companies to make this transition at their own pace by providing archiving capabilities across on-premise and cloud-based email solutions. Companies that plug into the LiveOffice archive benefit from continuity and backup/recovery features, while also meeting mailbox management, legal discovery and compliance needs." In addition to existing on-premise support for Microsoft Exchange Server, IBM Lotus Domino and Sendmail, LiveOffice now supports cloud-based solutions, including 123Together, AppRiver, Apptix, Cisco WebEx Mail, Google Apps (Premier), groupSpark, PanTerra Networks, Yahoo! Zimbra, and even personal email accounts like Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, and Hotmail. ![Pete Prestipino](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Pete%20Prestipino.jpeg) [Pete Prestipino](https://www.websitemagazine.com/email/author/pete-prestipino) Digital marketing executive with proven experience in all aspects of search engine optimization (SEO), performance-based advertising, consumer-generated/social media, email marketing, lead generation, Web design, usability, and analytics. - 20-year Internet marketing veteran, currently serving as the Digital Marketing Campaign Manager at Antenna Group (formerly Chicago Digital). - Former Editor-In-Chief of Website Magazine, and a regular speaker on Web technology digital marketing strategy - Author of several books on digital marketing Including Web 360: The Fundamentals of Web Success; Affiliate 360: The Fundamentals of Performance Marketing; Domains 360: The Fundamentals of Buying & Selling Domain Names, and SEO 360: The Fundamentals of Search Engine Optimization. - - - [mailto:peter@websitemagazine.com](mailto:peter@websitemagazine.com) #### Popular Post ### [2023 Email Marketing Statistics ![2023 Email Marketing Statistics](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/campaign-creators-8F4EX4Nw1yY-unsplash-1.jpg)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/email/email-marketing-statistics) ### [When to Remove Contacts from Your Email List ![When to Remove Contacts from Your Email List](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/gradient-regular-logo-mark-Jan-22-2023-11-52-07-3321-PM-Apr-10-2023-01-20-09-4548-PM-Apr-25-2023-03-12-59-3487-AM-May-01-2023-09-29-58-6208-PM.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/email/when-to-remove-contacts-from-your-email-list) ### [Emailology ![Emailology](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/gradient-regular-logo-mark-Jan-22-2023-11-42-56-1938-PM-Apr-10-2023-01-20-06-4083-PM-Apr-25-2023-03-12-57-4994-AM-May-01-2023-09-29-55-5560-PM.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/email/email-emailology) #### Subscribe to Our Newsletter!
