MASTER LIST of Retargeting Solutions

Successful marketing is the backbone of a successful business, and on the Internet, that means retargeting like a fool.

For those unfamiliar with the art of retargeting, it is when a company uses cooked-based technology and a little JavaScript code to creep on their visitors as they move about the Web. After adding a small piece of code to their websites, businesses can covertly drop an anonymous browser cookie on all of their visitors. This allows the company to watch that user, unbeknownst to them, as they surf the 'Net, and the cookie they dropped earlier will tell the retargeting solution to serve ads for the company.

Apparently, only about two percent of all Web traffic converts on the first visit, and so retargeting was developed to ensure that once a user visits a website, that company's brand will be in their face for their foreseeable digital future, thus increasing the likelihood that they'll come back and buy something.
