PageReboot: Scheduled Refresh of Any Web Page

Written by Michael Phillips | Dec 30, 2008 6:00:00 AM

PageReboot does one thing and it works. Enter any URL and a rate of refresh, and the site will display that page, then refresh automatically on your set schedule. There is also a bookmarklet option so you can drag links to start refreshing. It's a nice resource. Some uses might include:

  • eBay listings, making sure you get the last bid.
  • Blog comments, keep track of comments instantly so you don't miss an opportunity to respond (think reputation management.)
  • Twitter, keep track of incoming tweets, responses to your tweets and direct messages.
  • Forum postings, forums update rapidly and you can keep tabs on things so nothing gets out of hand (also reputation management.)
