The solution is compatible with major ecommerce mobile device platforms and utilizes product data already in its possession to deliver a mobile site.    "The mobile commerce market is poised to explode in the next year, yet many online retailers are not prepared to meet the demands of customers who want to shop with their mobile devices," said Shaun Ryan, CEO of SLI Systems. "In our recent survey of ecommerce business managers, 80% said they had not yet created a mobile version of their website, yet 83% are already seeing traffic from customers who come to their sites via mobile devices. It's clear that retailers need to act quickly to bring their business to the mobile market if they want to take full advantage of shoppers on the go."   While SLI's [mobile commerce](https://www.websitemagazine.com/definition/m-commerce) survey from earlier this year revealed that most retailers aren't prepared to meet the demands of the mobile market, the survey also showed that online retailers do recognize the importance of coming to market with mobile options for their customers: 60% of online retailers surveyed said they believe a mobile commerce strategy is very important or important to their overall business, and 70% said they plan to launch an [m-commerce](https://www.websitemagazine.com/definition/m-commerce) strategy within the next two years.    ![Pete Prestipino](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Pete%20Prestipino.jpeg) [Pete Prestipino](https://www.websitemagazine.com/mobile/author/pete-prestipino) Digital marketing executive with proven experience in all aspects of search engine optimization (SEO), performance-based advertising, consumer-generated/social media, email marketing, lead generation, Web design, usability, and analytics. - 20-year Internet marketing veteran, currently serving as the Digital Marketing Campaign Manager at Antenna Group (formerly Chicago Digital). - Former Editor-In-Chief of Website Magazine, and a regular speaker on Web technology digital marketing strategy - Author of several books on digital marketing Including Web 360: The Fundamentals of Web Success; Affiliate 360: The Fundamentals of Performance Marketing; Domains 360: The Fundamentals of Buying & Selling Domain Names, and SEO 360: The Fundamentals of Search Engine Optimization. - - - [mailto:peter@websitemagazine.com](mailto:peter@websitemagazine.com) #### Popular Post ### [Mobile banking can be actually good at getting cheaper funds ![Mobile banking can be actually good at getting cheaper funds](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/mobile_banking-200x200-Jan-23-2023-12-06-20-2386-AM-1-1-1.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/mobile/mobile-banking-can-be-actually-good-at-getting-cheaper-funds) ### [Apps Will Win the Olympic-Viewing Silver ![Apps Will Win the Olympic-Viewing Silver](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/sochi_100x100-2-1-1-1.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/mobile/apps-will-win-the-olympic-viewing-silver) ### [5 Ways to Go Beyond Google's Mobile Minimum ![5 Ways to Go Beyond Google's Mobile Minimum](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/local-pin-phone-image-Jan-23-2023-12-19-47-6461-AM-2-2-May-01-2023-09-26-53-6158-PM.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/mobile/5-ways-to-go-beyond-googles-mobile-minimum) #### Subscribe to Our Newsletter!
