What exactly is going on? InsideFacebook's Eric Eldon speculated that since most of the apps were launched last year it might just be the age of these games. "Game lifespan varies depending on genre, quality, the number of updates, and other factors - and some of these titles, like Restaurant City and Farm Town, are more than a year old" wrote Eldon. Virtual currency and app monetization platform Offerpal Media isn't sitting idly by however. The company today launched SocialKast, a cross-platform user acqusuition and re-engagement tool that lets developers send notifications and messages across multiple containers. According to the announcement: "Offerpal's SocialKast allows game developers and social platforms to write once in order to interact with multiple platforms using a set of lightweight REST messaging APIs and javascript calls. Developers can distribute both user-to-user and application-to-user invites, gifts, notifications and other types of text-based or graphical messages directly into the activity streams, email inboxes and other key areas of Offerpal's partner sites." ![](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/socialkast-kfactor-3-1-1-1.gif?width=450&height=243&name=socialkast-kfactor-3-1-1-1.gif) ![Pete Prestipino](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Pete%20Prestipino.jpeg) [Pete Prestipino](https://www.websitemagazine.com/social-media/author/pete-prestipino) Digital marketing executive with proven experience in all aspects of search engine optimization (SEO), performance-based advertising, consumer-generated/social media, email marketing, lead generation, Web design, usability, and analytics. - 20-year Internet marketing veteran, currently serving as the Digital Marketing Campaign Manager at Antenna Group (formerly Chicago Digital). - Former Editor-In-Chief of Website Magazine, and a regular speaker on Web technology digital marketing strategy - Author of several books on digital marketing Including Web 360: The Fundamentals of Web Success; Affiliate 360: The Fundamentals of Performance Marketing; Domains 360: The Fundamentals of Buying & Selling Domain Names, and SEO 360: The Fundamentals of Search Engine Optimization. - - - [mailto:peter@websitemagazine.com](mailto:peter@websitemagazine.com) #### Popular Post ### [The Importance of Social Media in Education ![The Importance of Social Media in Education](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/social-media-in-education-2-1-1-1.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/social-media/importance-of-social-media-in-education) ### [SERPs, Twitter and Chicago Hot Dogs ![SERPs, Twitter and Chicago Hot Dogs](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/gradient-regular-logo-mark-Jan-23-2023-02-31-43-9298-PM-Apr-10-2023-01-49-07-1925-PM-1-1.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/social-media/serps-twitter-and-chicago-hot-dogs) ### [9 Benefits of Snapchat for Business ![9 Benefits of Snapchat for Business](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/snap-2-1-1.jpg)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/social-media/9-benefits-of-snapchat-for-business) #### Subscribe to Our Newsletter!
