Since its launch, however, the network of partners has expanded past just advertising, leading Twitter to change the Ads API name to The Twitter Marketing Platform Program. The new program includes not only the company's Ads API partners, but also partners in measuring and targeting.   "The companies in our new Marketing Platform Program have helped their clients reach new levels of success by improving their clients' direct response, branding and live initiatives across multiple verticals," the [Twitter blog states](https://blog.twitter.com/2014/introducing-the-marketing-platform-program).
