Video publishers distributing their digital content assets on YouTube now have access to real-time statistics about video views.
When logged in as a content owner, the new YouTube Realtime report shows estimated views data for the last 5 published videos (for an individual content owner or a channel) in two charts - minute by minute (last 60) and hour by hour (last 48).
While the same data is available when looking at reports for individual videos, the new report provides video publishers early insights into the performance of recently published videos that could influence their development and promotion strategy.
Google did indicate that there is a latency of a few minutes between the occurrence of the view and its display in the report (although it did indicate that the data is automatically updated so there's no need to refresh the page).
