There are quite a few effects that render with CrossSlide; Slide and Cross-fade, a Static cross-fade and what the creator calls the Ken Burns effect (panning, zooming and fading to specific points to "guide the eye of the viewer and convey meaning). The latter provides a gorgeuous effect that is sure to impress users. I did my best to capture the effect on video but it did not render well (perhaps due to the animation itself).
