New Tracking and Targeting Tools for 3dcart Merchants

A new feature from MailChimp allows 3dcart merchants to segment their mailing lists to target different types of customers.

The ecommerce segmentation feature has been added to 3dcart's platform after an advanced API integration. The integration also includes MailChimp's Ecommerce360, which is a feature that tracks customers from the moment they open an email until they make a purchase.

In order to leverage the new email tools, merchants must first setup an account with MailChimp. Then the configuration synchronizes the merchant's customers and newsletter subscribers with mailing list information that is stored in MailChimp. Mailing lists are also automatically formatted to receive order information and customer details, in order to simplify the way that data is used for campaigns.
