The mobile-focused photo/video sharing platform now has a user base in excess of 200 million - 50 million of which have joined in the last six months. And those users are active... really, really active. Over 20 billion photos have been shared (approximately 60 million each day) and those images and video generate over 1.6 billion likes each day.   --- #### ![](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/missing-image-Apr-10-2023-01-52-51-3796-PM-3-2.png?width=20&height=20&name=missing-image-Apr-10-2023-01-52-51-3796-PM-3-2.png) [SUBSCRIBE FREE to Website Magazine - 12 Issues ](https://www.websitemagazine.com/subscribe?utm_source=website&utm_medium=content&utm_campaign=WMcontent) --- ![Pete Prestipino](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Pete%20Prestipino.jpeg) [Pete Prestipino](https://www.websitemagazine.com/social-media/author/pete-prestipino) Digital marketing executive with proven experience in all aspects of search engine optimization (SEO), performance-based advertising, consumer-generated/social media, email marketing, lead generation, Web design, usability, and analytics. - 20-year Internet marketing veteran, currently serving as the Digital Marketing Campaign Manager at Antenna Group (formerly Chicago Digital). - Former Editor-In-Chief of Website Magazine, and a regular speaker on Web technology digital marketing strategy - Author of several books on digital marketing Including Web 360: The Fundamentals of Web Success; Affiliate 360: The Fundamentals of Performance Marketing; Domains 360: The Fundamentals of Buying & Selling Domain Names, and SEO 360: The Fundamentals of Search Engine Optimization. - - - [mailto:peter@websitemagazine.com](mailto:peter@websitemagazine.com) #### Popular Post ### [The Importance of Social Media in Education ![The Importance of Social Media in Education](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/social-media-in-education-2-1-1-1.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/social-media/importance-of-social-media-in-education) ### [SERPs, Twitter and Chicago Hot Dogs ![SERPs, Twitter and Chicago Hot Dogs](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/gradient-regular-logo-mark-Jan-23-2023-02-31-43-9298-PM-Apr-10-2023-01-49-07-1925-PM-1-1.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/social-media/serps-twitter-and-chicago-hot-dogs) ### [9 Benefits of Snapchat for Business ![9 Benefits of Snapchat for Business](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/snap-2-1-1.jpg)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/social-media/9-benefits-of-snapchat-for-business) #### Subscribe to Our Newsletter!
