Twitter is busy rolling out updates this week. First the social network introduced Syndicated Promoted Tweets, and now it's unveiling a feature called "Quick Promote."

With Quick Promote, small and medium-sized businesses are able to quickly get their best content in front of more people on Twitter. With the feature, businesses will be able to amplify their best performing Tweets directly from the Tweet Activity Dashboard. It takes just a few clicks to promote a Tweet, and then the Tweet will automatically be targeted to users who have interests similar to the business's current followers. According to Twitter's data, consumers who see a relevant Promoted Tweet from a SMB are also 32 percent more likely to visit that business.

"The ability to promote a Tweet directly from the Tweet Activity Dashboard is a huge win," said Paul May, CEO of Austin-based startup BuzzStream. "Being able to quickly pinpoint content that's performing and then target people who are naturally interested in the topic gives us a fast, effective way to grow our audience and amplify our message."
