Pinterest has launched a new way for its users to discover the latest pins from their top interest categories.

Now, when users visit a category on the social network, the category will feature a new selection of specialized interests for users to explore. Moreover, users can follow these specialized interests in order to see Pins in their newsfeed from other people who share that same interest. To stop seeing these pins in their homefeed, users can simply go back to the interest and click Unfollow or manage their interests in the Following section of their profile.

"So if you go to our great Outdoors category today, now you'll see related interests like Hiking, Camping and Running right at the top of the page," the Pinterest blog post states. "Dive into Hiking and you'll discover all kinds of Pins from other hike-minded Pinners. While you're there, you can navigate your way through to Canoeing, Rock Climbing and other topics hikers tend to enjoy. And so on, and on...and on."

Pinterest is starting by rolling out this feature in English first. Plus, the feature will be available on Android and iOS devices as well as on the Web. It is also important to note that this feature could prove beneficial for brands on the social network. This is because it will enable Pinterest users to find more relevant and personalized topics to follow, which could result in an increase in followers and engagement for brands.
