In the marketing universe, cross-device targeting is the star that's burning brightest.

The ability to accurately target consumers across multiple devices is becoming more realistic every day. There are dozens of cross-device marketing companies out there making it vital that they separate themselves from the rest any way possible.

Dstillery, formerly known as Media6Degrees, is an cross-device ad retargeting agency that has announced the reception of $24 million in a round of Series C (e.g. third round) funding. With the addition of the latest round of funding, Dstillery has raised a total of $48 million.

With the newly acquired capital Dstillery plans to develop new products, hire new employees in key divisions, explore possible companies to acquire in multiple markets including mobile as well as expand into new markets.

This latest round of funding was led by NewSpring capital with participation from existing shareholders US. Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures and Venrock.

"For five years, we have focused on finding signal in massive data sets, and have become the leading provider of scalable data-driven solutions for marketers," said Tom Phillips, CEO of Dstillery. "This funding is both a testament to that success and evidence of our commitment to building the best multi-platform marketing solutions for brands."
