New generic top-level domain extension .TECH reached the 100,000 registration mark this week.
Radix Registry, the official registry of the .TECH extension, revealed some interesting information recently on the success of the gTLD, including that it is now the fifth most used new domain and that over 300 sites in Alexa's 1 million top domain names are using the extension.
Namestat.org reports that between 400 and 500 of the extensions are acquired each day and that's it is currently the 22nd best-selling new top-level domains.
The .TECH extension went into general availability in early August 2015.
