The update is intended to fix bugs, mostly lag issues. According to users and Wired's Gadget Lab testers, the lag issues in the address book have been fixed, text messaging is faster and more responsive, emails delete faster and backup is faster. There seems to be some discussion whether the 3G connectivity has improved or not. And, reportedly jailbreak apps are removed by the update. And check out the [telescope gadget](https://mobile.brando.com.hk/prod_detail.php?prod_id=03534) for iPhone below. By clicking it on, you get 6x zoom - not too bad. While it may not be the most practical gadget in the world, it could be fun. And it comes with a plastic case that the telescope snaps connects to. At $20, it seems like a bargain. ![](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/iphonetelescope-2-1-1-1.jpg) ![Michael Phillips](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Michael%20Phillips.jpeg) [Michael Phillips](https://www.websitemagazine.com/mobile/author/michael-phillips) Masson specializes in helping brands articulate their purpose and communicate their value—through naming, campaigns, pitch decks, copy, video, and multi-platform, targeted content series. - - - - [mailto:michael.phillips@websitemagazine.com](mailto:michael.phillips@websitemagazine.com) #### Popular Post ### [Mobile banking can be actually good at getting cheaper funds ![Mobile banking can be actually good at getting cheaper funds](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/mobile_banking-200x200-Jan-23-2023-12-06-20-2386-AM-1-1-1.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/mobile/mobile-banking-can-be-actually-good-at-getting-cheaper-funds) ### [Apps Will Win the Olympic-Viewing Silver ![Apps Will Win the Olympic-Viewing Silver](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/sochi_100x100-2-1-1-1.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/mobile/apps-will-win-the-olympic-viewing-silver) ### [5 Ways to Go Beyond Google's Mobile Minimum ![5 Ways to Go Beyond Google's Mobile Minimum](https://www.websitemagazine.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/local-pin-phone-image-Jan-23-2023-12-19-47-6461-AM-2-2-May-01-2023-09-26-53-6158-PM.png)](https://www.websitemagazine.com/mobile/5-ways-to-go-beyond-googles-mobile-minimum) #### Subscribe to Our Newsletter!
