A recent report released by technology trade group TechNet indicates that application development has created 466,000 jobs in the U.S. since 2007.

Typically selling for $99, this is a great way for hobbyists and students currently out of work to learn new skills that are in high demand.
Those signing up (proof of unemployment is required) will be able to compile native apps for Macs, and on Windows and Linux as well. Users also receive full access to the company's online customer service tools including access to email support specialists, training videos and user forums.
