Trump On Apple & China

Remarking on outsourcing during a speech at Liberty University this week, GOP candidate Donald Trump indicated that if he is elected president he would force Apple to manufacture in the U.S.

Trump indicated that he would impose a 35 percent tax on businesses producing goods overseas, commenting "We're going to get Apple to build their damn computers and things in this country instead of other countries."

Apple actually already builds its Mac Pro at a factory in Austin, TX. Its other computers and devices does happens in Asia (at Foxconn and its factory complex in Shenzhen, China - specifically the iPhone). Many other tech companies also outsource to Foxconn, including Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.
