Progress & Productivity: Delivering an Optimized Web Experience

There's more to the content management landscape than the most well-known vendors (i.e. WordPress) and perhaps it is time that Web professionals start paying attention.

Progress, a provider of application development and deployment technologies, for example, recently announced a new release of their rather powerful Sitefinity offering. The solution (which is actually used by Website Magazine) has been retooled to provide developers and marketers with the features and capabilities necessary to build and deliver personalized, adaptive web experiences - making everyone within the digital enterprise more productive and effective in the process.

The updated system will enable marketers to deliver "intelligent, seamless, multi-channel experiences" according to the Progress announcement, and utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve experiences and drive lead conversion. Developers too will benefit directly thanks to new capabilities such as tools to help with the creative of MVC based digital experiences, and an Angular-based admin panel designed to simplify customization and integration of API services (such as AI o rmachine learning).

"To be successful, organizations must deliver personalized content, matching the end user's needs and preferences. This is possible only through a powerful, flexible solution that enables the quick launch of campaigns with the ability to iterate in real-time," said John Ainsworth, Senior Vice President, Core Products Progress. "With today's release, Progress Sitefinity empowers marketing professionals with a simple, powerful interface, and enables developers to easily manage the backend with the industry's best UI toolsets coupled with automated functionality for easy cloud deployments."
